Before January completely slips away (how is this month already moving at lightning speed?), I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the beauty standouts of 2022. Last year brought an incredible array of launches, rediscoveries, and staples that seamlessly wove their way into my daily routine. To celebrate, I’ve created a video highlighting my most-loved products month by month—an annual tradition I cherish because it’s both reflective and inspiring.
And alongside this roundup, I’m beyond excited to introduce something very close to my heart: my latest lip color collaboration with Au Naturale. Say hello to Trenchcoat—a universally flattering neutral that’s equal parts timeless and modern.
A Year in Beauty Favorites
Each month of 2022 had its own shining stars—formulas that impressed me enough to earn a permanent place in my collection. Here’s a quick walkthrough:
- January: Clé de Peau Beauté’s legendary concealer lived up to its reputation for coverage and elegance.
- February: Hair and scalp care took center stage with Nutrafol, T3 Rollers, and OUAI’s Detox Shampoo.
- March: A month of radiant foundations—Clé de Peau Radiant Cream and SUQQU The Foundation both delivered glow and refinement.
- April: The Valentino Rosa Emozionne Blush and Beautybio Pout lip treatment brought vibrancy and freshness.
- May: Sisley-Paris Ombre Éclat proved itself as a chic eyeshadow staple.
- June: Monika Blunder Beauty’s Blunder Cover and Bioeffect’s EFG Serum were skin-perfecting highlights.
- July: Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Baccarat Rouge 540 fragrance joined forces with a Celine bucket bag for ultimate luxury.
- August: Chanel’s Water Fresh Tint and RMS Re-Evolve Foundation were lightweight yet transformative.
- September: Tower 28’s mascara, Omorovicza’s Even Tone serum, and La Perla’s Tangelo Red lipstick all made their debut in my rotation.
- October: Oribe’s Bright Blonde Mist and Run Through Detangler kept hair luminous and manageable.
- November: Clé de Peau The Foundation and Parfums de Marly Oriana offered elegance in base and fragrance.
- December: A flurry of standouts closed the year—Chanel CC Cream, Byredo Lip Vinyl, my Nude Envie collaboration in Joey, Iconic London Glaze Crayons, La Bouche Rouge Chilwa Palette, and Gee Beauty Prime Skin, among others.
Each of these selections reflected not just performance but a certain sense of joy—the kind that makes a beauty ritual feel like self-care.

The Story Behind Trenchcoat
Now, onto perhaps the most exciting part: my newest lip collaboration with Au Naturale.
For years, I’ve been mixing shades—layering pinks, nudes, peaches, and beiges—trying to achieve the perfect neutral lip. That custom creation became my daily go-to, the shade I always wished existed on its own. Finally, with Au Naturale, it does.
We named it Trenchcoat because I’ve long admired the timelessness of an actual trench coat: classic, versatile, and flattering on absolutely everyone. Just as a trench coat elevates any outfit, this lip color pulls a look together instantly.
The shade itself is a harmonious blend of pink, nude, peach, and beige. It has the power to brighten the face, add subtle volume and dimension to the lips, and flatter all skin tones. The formula—a creamy, full-coverage su/Stain—ensures a rich payoff and lasting finish that feels as effortless as it looks.
For me, Trenchcoat is more than just a lipstick. It’s the embodiment of versatility, confidence, and ease. It’s the neutral of my dreams, finally realized. And my hope is that it becomes the same for you.
Final Thoughts
Looking back, 2022 was a year of beauty that felt both innovative and grounding. From fresh formulations that simplified routines to fragrances and foundations that sparked joy, each product earned its place. And now, stepping into 2023, Trenchcoat feels like the perfect way to continue the journey—an everyday essential with timeless appeal.
As always, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts. Which of these favorites do you love too? And will Trenchcoat be finding its way into your own beauty wardrobe?
Here’s to another year of discovery, delight, and the small luxuries that make each day brighter.
Stay strong, seek wisdom, much love, and more soon.
